Flying Solo LIVE! is designed for the self-employed and micro business sector. While the exact size of this booming group is unknown, ABS figures and trends from 2001-2004 suggest that solo and micro businesses comprise more than one million independent businesses, nationwide. The NSW Department of State and Regional Development actively encourages this growing and important element of the NSW economy, as evidenced by this personal message from Joe Tripodi, the Minister for Small Business.
